2/22/24: Public Comment at Port of Oakland

United Service Workers West (SEIU-USWW) members, who work at Oakland Airport, spoke about ongoing environmental and occupational health hazards during the Port of Oakland’s meeting Feb. 22, 2024. They were supported by speakers from Communities For a Better Environment (CBE) and Stop OAK Expansion Coalition, who commented on the negative impacts expansion would have on health in nearby East Oakland, air quality and California’s ability to address climate change.
